A Message from the Mayor: Happy Thanksgiving

To the Residents of Eddystone Borough,

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment, to extend my warmest wishes to every resident, family, and business in Eddystone.

Thanksgiving is a time for reflection, gratitude, and coming together. It offers us a valuable opportunity to pause our busy lives and truly appreciate the people and things that enrich our community.

I am immensely thankful for the dedication of our first responders, borough staff, and countless volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to keep Eddystone safe, and vibrant. Your commitment is what makes our borough a wonderful place to call home.

This year, as you gather with loved ones, whether over a grand meal or in quiet reflection, I hope you are surrounded by warmth and happiness. May your day be filled with delicious food, cherished memories, and the simple joy of connection.

Please take care of yourselves and look out for your neighbors as we celebrate this special day.

Wishing you and yours a safe, peaceful, and truly Happy Thanksgiving.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Ronald Hughes

We recognize the immense weight of the oath you took, the hardships you endured, and the unwavering patriotism you demonstrated, whether in times of peace or conflict. Your willingness to put duty first embodies the highest ideals of American citizenship, and your service ensures the lasting strength of our nation.
