Vaccination Info

Delaware County Now Offering Walk-in and Drive-Up COVID-19 Vaccinations

Delaware County is now offering walk-in and drive-up vaccinations at all County-operated, sponsored, and partnered vaccination sites. These sites include the Aston Community Center (Moderna), the Delaware County Wellness Center in Yeadon (Moderna), the Keystone First Wellness Center in Chester (Moderna), Mercy Fitzgerald in Darby (Moderna), Springfield Hospital (Pfizer), Penn Medicine Radnor (Pfizer), Delaware County Community College (Johnson & Johnson) and this Sunday’s community vaccination clinic at Ridley High School (Johnson & Johnson). Our community “Pop-Up” vaccine sites will typically offer the walk-in or drive-up option unless otherwise stated.

Vaccinations are free at all County sites and are available for adults ages 16 and above (for Pfizer) and 18 and above (for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson). Health insurance and ID is not required. Appointments for second doses will be made at the time of the first dose.

Vaccination appointments are now easily available most days of the week. The consistent supply of vaccines from the Pennsylvania Department of Health has significantly increased vaccine availability—a major improvement over just a few weeks ago when vaccine supply was inconsistent and vaccination appointments were scheduled as quickly as they were made available.

Appointments are still recommended. Scheduled appointments make planning easier and help ensure that residents get their vaccination quickly and efficiently, reducing the potential for on-site delays that may occur at peak hours.

To schedule a vaccination at a Delaware County site and check vaccine site hours, residents can visit the COVID-19 website at delcopa.gov/vax, or contact our COVID-19 Call Center by phone at (484) 276-2100 or by email at covid19resources@co.delaware.pa.us, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Residents can also contact the Call Center to request an on-site at-home vaccination for themselves, a homebound loved one, or friend as part of the Delaware County Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program. Information needed includes the name of the person to be vaccinated, a phone number, zip code, and an email if applicable.

Delaware County is now providing second dose shots of Moderna and Pfizer vaccine to Delaware County residents who received their first dose at a non-County vaccine site but are unable to keep to keep their second dose appointment at that site, or have already missed their scheduled second shot. To schedule a second shot, residents should contact the Call Center to ensure that the appropriate vaccine and timeframe is observed.
