Eddystone Borough Offices will close at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 22 and will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.
Offices will reopen for business on Tuesday, May 26.

Work continues on Wednesday, May 20h for PECO infrastructure improvements.
Due to this work, Ashland Avenue is closed between 7th and 8th streets Local traffic only.

Eddystone Borough Seeking Proposals for Code Enforcement Services
The Council of Eddystone Borough is soliciting proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals to provide the following Code Enforcement Services:
- Building Code Official (Residential & Commercial)
- Rental Inspection Coordinator
- General Code Enforcement Officer
- Health Officer
Interested applicants must be certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry to perform inspections, plan reviews and enforcement under the Uniformed Construction Code in the applicable category of work.

Temporarily Street Closures for PECO Work – Thursday, May 14
Work continues on Thursday, May 14th for PECO infrastructure improvements.
Due to this work, 10th Street is closed to traffic at Saville Avenue, and Ashland Avenue is closed between 8th and 9th Streets. Flaggers will be on hand to help guide traffic.
Expect delays and detours in these areas – please observe posted temporary signage and allow flaggers to guide traffic where needed.
Temporarily Street Closures for PECO Work – Wednesday, May 13
Work continues on Wednesday, May 13th for PECO trench digging and pipe installation.
Expect delays and detours in these areas – please observe posted temporary signage and allow flaggers to guide traffic where needed.
10th Street is closed at Saville Ave, where traffic will be rerouted to 9th St. and 12th St.
9th street is open today, but down to one lane; The south side of Ashland Avenue is closed to through traffic, but is open between 7th and 8th Streets.
Toll Street will also be closed; flaggers are on hand in front of the PECO building at 10th and Simpson to guide traffic.
Eddystone Borough Council will hold a meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
This meeting will be open to the public and will take place on the second floor of the Eddystone Municipal Building, 12th Street and Saville Avenue.

Work continues on Thursday, May 7th for PECO trench digging and pipe installation on Leiper Street and Ashland Avenue.
Leiper Street is closed from 10th Street to 11th Street – flaggers are on site.
Ashland Avenue is closed from 10th Street to 9th Street. Flaggers are on site to get trash and buses through the work zone.
Temporarily Street Closures for PECO Work – Tuesday, May 5
Work continues on Tuesday, May 5th for PECO pipe installation in the area of 11th Street and Leiper Street
11th Street is closed from Leiper to Saville Street. Leiper St is closed at the intersection with 11th.
Flaggers are on site to reroute traffiic as needed. Saville will still be open to buses, tractor trailers, and emergency vehicles.

11th Street is closed from Toll to Saville Street. Leiper St is closed at the intersection with 11th.
Flaggers are on site to guide traffic down Toll Street and through the alley way on Leiper Street.
