Happy Veterans Day
From the Office of Mayor Ronald Hughes
I, Mayor Ronald Hughes, extend my deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Veterans Day is observed every year. November 11th is a sacred day when we pause to honor the commitment, courage, and profound sacrifices made by our Veterans to protect our freedoms and way of life.
We recognize the immense weight of the oath you took, the hardships you endured, and the unwavering patriotism you demonstrated, whether in times of peace or conflict. Your willingness to put duty first embodies the highest ideals of American citizenship, and your service ensures the lasting strength of our nation.
To the Veterans who call Eddystone home, we especially thank you for your continued leadership and commitment to our community.
We owe you a debt we can never fully repay. To our Veterans, your families, and
those currently serving: Thank you. We wish you a happy and honorable Veterans Day. We stand with you today and always.
Ronald Hughes
Mayor, Eddystone Borough
